Benjamin James “Bengy” Dedic, age 67, of Winfield, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2024 at his residence. A memorial has been established at the funeral home for Bengy’s family. Bengy was born July 15, 1957 in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, the son of James and Joanne (Schenk) Dedic. He worked various jobs throughout his life, including Teklad Mills, Eichelberger Farms and Logan’s Gas Station. Bengy was a muscle car enthusiast. He enjoyed working on cars and building model cars.
He will be missed by his sister, Darla Dedic of Wapello; brother, C.J. (Julie) Dedic of Winfield; and sister, Jolene (Alan) Milks of West Burlington; nieces and nephews: John (Amber) Koch, Aaron (Emilea) Koch, Jade (Lee) Winkler, Damon Boline, Jamie (Howard) Snook, Derek Dedic, Lane Dedic, Samantha Milks, and Dalton Milks; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Deena Boline.
