Benjamin Levett Barnes
IOWA CITY ? Benjamin Levett Barnes, 76, of Iowa City, died Monday, Nov. 14, 2011 in Mercy Hospital in Iowa City following a lengthy illness
Celebration of Life services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, in St. Mark?s United Methodist Church in Iowa City with the Rev. Arnette Pint officiating. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the church, where the family will receive friends from noon until 1 p.m. Interment with military honors will be conducted by Washington American Legion Post No. 29 and will take place in Clay Township Cemetery in rural Washington County. Memorials may be made to the Iowa City Hospice. Jones-Eden Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
