Bernard J. 'Jr' Johnson

Bernard J. ?Jr? Johnson, 82, of Camdenton, Miss., formerly of Fairfield, died Friday Oct. 26, 2012, in Springfield, Missouri.

A funeral service is at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield with the Rev. Nate Nims officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield with Military honors.

The family will receive friends from 5 ? 7 p.m. Wednesday evening at Raymond Funeral Home.

Mr. Johnson was born May 17, 1930 in Shenandoah, Iowa, the son of Bernard Joseph and Effie Johnson. He married Barbara Lee Means May 1, 1950 in Corning.

Survivors include two sons, Jerry Johnson and wife Ann of Nixa, Miss., Jimmy Johnson and wife Amy of Fairfield; three grandchildren; and his brother Gary Johnson of Red Oak.

He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; and an infant sister.
