Bernard M. Hershberger

      WELLMAN - Bernard M. Hershberger, 83, of Wellman, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008, in Parkview Manor in Wellman following a brief illness.

      Celebration of Life services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, in the Wellman Mennonite Church with the Rev. Marvin Hostetler officiating. Burial will be held prior to the service at 10 a.m. in the Wellman Mennonite Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Powell Funeral Home in Wellman, where the family will greet friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Mennonite Board of Missions and Washington County Hospice.

      Mr. Hershberger was born Sept. 20, 1924, in Milford, Neb., the son of Paul and Nettie (Miller) Hershberger. He married Neva Lou Jantz on Sept. 15, 1946, in Newton, Kan.
