Bernice Barbara Roth
WAYLAND - Bernice Barbara Roth, 89, of Wayland, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2008, in the Parkview Home in Wayland following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, in the Sugar Creek Mennonite Church with the Rev. Nathan Luitjens officiating. Burial will be in the Sugar Creek Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Beatty Funeral Home in Wayland is handling the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Parkview Home or Sugar Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Roth was born Nov. 21, 1918, in Albany, Ore., the daughter of Daniel and Lydia (Leichty) Steckly. She married Gilbert F. Roth on Feb. 16, 1939 in her parents' home in Albany.
