Bernice C. Martin
WELLMAN - Bernice C. Martin, 84, of Wellman, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2008, in Mercy Hospital in Iowa City following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7, in the Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Wellman with the Rev. Richard Pippert officiating. Burial will be in the Wellman Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. A general memorial fund has been established.
Mrs. Martin was born Oct. 6, 1923, in Wellman, the daughter of LeRoy and Anna (Ossman) Kelley. She married Earl K. Martin in November 1944.
