Bernice O. Wolfe
ANKENY - Bernice O. Wolfe, 92, of Ankeny, formerly of Washington, died Friday, Dec. 1, 2006 in the Kavanagh Hospice House in Des Moines following a decline in health.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. today in the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington with the Rev. Dennis Fox officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established.
Mrs. Wolfe was born Jan. 17, 1914 in Wayland, the daughter of Edward and Nellie (Long) Sponberg. She married John Sherman Wolfe on June 29, 1935 in Washington.
