Berniece M. Calhoun
Berniece Marcelean Calhoun, 87, of Mt. Pleasant, died Wednesday, July 16, at Park Place Long Term Care Unit in Mt. Pleasant.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Saturday, July 19, at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel, with family present. A graveside service will follow at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, with the Rev. Ken Barlow officiating.
A memorial fund has been established.
She was born April 3, 1921, the daughter of Ray and Leota Archibald Ford. On Sept. 8, 1939, she married George W. Calhoun in Ft. Madison.
