Bertha Brown September 13, 1904 - November 28, 2003

      Bertha Brown, 99, of Livermore, Calif., formerly of the Ainsworth area died Friday, Nov. 28, 2003, in Livermore.

      The memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 12 at the Fern Cliff Evangelical Free Church, with the Revs. Charles Visser and Don Johanson officiating. A private burial will be held prior to the service at the Fern Cliff Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service at the church. A memorial has been established to the Fern Cliff Evangelical Free Church. Beatty Funeral home of Washington is assisting with the arrangements.

      Survivors include a son, Hugh Brown of Phoenix, Ariz.; a daughter, Marlene Boring of Livermore; and three grandchildren.

      She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Willard; a sister, Lily; and a daughter, Lona Brown.
