Bertha Snodgrass
WELLMAN-Bertha Snodgrass, 96, of Wellman, died Wednesday, June 2, 2004, at Parkview Manor in Wellman, following a brief illness.
It was Mrs. Snodgrass' request that her body be donated to the University of Iowa. A graveside service will be held at a later date at Bailey Cemetery in rural Keswick. Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Wellman is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Snodgrass was born on Jan. 13, 1908, near What Cheer, to Herman and Madge (Slaven) King. On Feb. 13, 1927, she married Lawrence Maxwell Snodgrass in Keswick.
