Bettijean Swan July 7, 1919 - February 5, 2004

Bettijean Swan, 84, of Libertyville, died at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2003 at the Jefferson County Hospital.

      The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 16 at the Libertyville United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Thomas Raphael-Nakos officiating. Burial will be in the Fell Cemetery near Libertyville. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 15 at the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield. A memorial has been established to the Libertyville United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Janet Isern of Amarillo, Texas; two sons, Gail and his wife Diane Swan, and Terry and his wife Deb Swan, all of Libertyville; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Elinor Fordyce of Libertyville, and Martha Carlson of Winfield.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Dixie Corlett; and three brothers, Walter, Howard and Frank Johnston.
