Betty Elizabeth Romine
WELLMAN - Betty Elizabeth Romine, 85, of Coralville, died Tuesday, April 8, 2008, in the Lantern Park Nursing and Rehab Center in Coralville following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, April 11, in the Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Wellman. Burial will be at a later date in the Keota Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established.
Mrs. Romine was born Aug. 25, 1922, in Burlington, the daughter of Edward and Jennie (Wenieke) Whalen. She married Donall J. Romine on Jan. 10, 1948 in Kahoka, Mo.
