Betty Headley
Betty Headley, 78, of Fairfield, died at 8:52 p.m., Thursday, April 6, 2006, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.
A service was held this morning at Behner Funeral Home, with the Rev. Traverce Harrison officiating. Burial followed in Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Fairfield.
Memorials to the VFW Ladies auxiliary may be sent to 306 S. Court St., Fairfield 52556.
Mrs. Headley was born May 14, 1927, in Aurora, Neb., the daughter of Joseph R. and Hattie Wilson Peters. She married Lester "Bud" Headley March 19, 1950, in Fairfield. He died Dec. 6, 2002.
