Betty L. Roth

WASHINGTON - Betty L. Roth, 78, of Washington, died Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008, in her home in Washington.

      Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, in the Bethel Mennonite Church with the Rev. Duane Roth officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon Tuesday in the Bethel Mennonite Church where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Beatty Funeral Home in Washington is assisting with the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Bethel Mennonite Church or the Washington Community Y.

      Mrs. Roth was born Nov. 28, 1929, in Wayland, the daughter of Claire D. and Lydia (Wyse) Boshart. She married Owen Roth on Dec. 19, 1948 in the Sugar Creek Mennonite Church.
