Betty L. Swindle

      Betty L. Swindle, 82, formerly of Cantril, died at 10:23 p.m. Friday, March 9, 2007, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.

      A service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. David Alexander officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Cantril.

      Family visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

      Memorials to the family may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at PO Box 171, Cantril 52542.

      Mrs. Swindle was born June 6, 1924, near Cantril, the daughter of Fred Q. and Irene Virgil Wolf Hamburg. She married Ray Swindle in 1972. He died in 1990.
