Betty Lou Boley

      Betty Lou Boley, 79, of Keosauqua, died at noon Thursday, July 3, 2008, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.

      A funeral was held today at Keosauqua United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Elsa Lawry and the Rev. ellis andrews officiating. Burial was in Purdom Cemetery in Keosauqua.

      Memorials to Keosauqua United Methodist Church, American Cancer Society or Van Buren County Hospital may be left at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua or may be mailed to the family at PO Box 34, Keosauqua 52565.

      Mrs. Boley was born Sept. 28, 1928, in rural Birmingham, the daughter of Lloyd and Hazel Lyon Johnson. She married Leo G. Boley Jr. Aug. 27, 1947, in Birmingham. He died July 23, 2004.
