Betty Rosemary Severt

Betty Rosemary Severt, 90, of Washington, died Saturday, April 4, 2009, at the Halcyon House in Washington following a decline in health.

    Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington with the Rev. Julia Poulsen officiating.  Burial will be at Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington.  Visitation began at noon today at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.  Memorials have been established with the Asbury Methodist Church in Wellman or the United Methodist Church of Washington.

    Mrs. Severt was born Dec. 24, 1918, in Washington, the daughter of Louis A. and Florence (Larimer) Jones.  She married Rex Severt on May 21, 1939, in Rochester, Minn.
