Betty Stigers
Betty Stigers, 74, of Washington, died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008, in Mercy Hospital in Iowa following a short illness.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, in the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington with the Rev. Fred Bickhart officiating. Burial will be in the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Visitation will begin at noon Tuesday in the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or Relay for Life.
Mrs. Stigers was born Jan. 18, 1934, in Fairfield, the daughter of Earnest and Beatrice (Winters) Crawford. She married Fred Stigers on Sept. 12, 1953, in Davenport.
