BETTY JOAN TIFFANY Kalona, IA Betty Joan Tiffany, 79, of Kalona, passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2018, at her granny house on her granddaughter's property in Kalona, Iowa. Per Betty's wishes, she was cremated and a private graveside service will be held at a later date. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Betty. The Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Columbus Junction is caring for Betty's family and her arrangements. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com. Betty Joan Verheul was born on April 28, 1939, in Monroe, Iowa the daughter of Carl and Ruth (Dunaway) Verheul. On August 24, 1957, Betty was united in marriage to Paul Tiffany in Monroe, Iowa. Betty worked in the fabric department at Walmart and attended the Victory Christian Church in Columbus Junction. She enjoyed country music, crafting and spending time with her family. Betty is survived by her children, Randy (Debbie) Tiffany of Maryland, Cheri (Kenny) Ita of Danville, Iowa, Carla Jenkins of Iowa City, Iowa and Rick (Brenda) Tiffany of Columbus Junction, Iowa; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and siblings, Marilyn "Jeanie" (Dick) Marsden of Red Oak, Iowa, Donald Verheul of Pella, Iowa, Darrell (Sonya) Verheul of Monroe, Iowa and Patty (Rich) Eilander of Monroe, Iowa. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Paul.
