Beverly Joan Royer, 90, of Winfield, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023, at Sunrise Terrace Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Private family services will be held at a later date in the Winfield Scott Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Winfield Fire Department in memory of Beverly. Beverly Joan Miller was born November 13, 1932, in Winterset, Iowa, the daughter of Ira and Lucille (Ripley) Miller. She was a 1951 graduate of Winfield High School. On June 5, 1954, Beverly was united in marriage to Robert Royer at the Presbyterian Church in Winfield. She was a sales representative for DeJayne’s Jewelry for many years. Beverly was a member of T.T.T. and the Winfield Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed her flowers, gardening, making tea towels, needlepoint, crocheting, her three dogs and spending time with her family.

Beverly will be deeply missed by her children, Lon Royer of Morning Sun and Kyle Royer of Morning Sun; granddaughter, Kristin (Matthew) Henning of Morning Sun; great grandchildren, Riley and Kohlton Heinzel; one brother, Craig (Gail) Miller of Keosauqua; and many nieces and nephews.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Kenneth (Verlee) Miller.
