Bill Alfred Nelson
Bill Alfred Nelson, 66, of Muscatine, died Sunday, Sept. 28, 2003, at Muscatine Unity Hospital, following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1, at Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington, with the Rev. Richard Boyd officiating. Burial will be in the cemetery. Family visitation will be one hour prior to the time of services at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington. A general memorial has been established.
Mr. Nelson was born on Dec. 15, 1936, in Spartansburg, S.C., to Willie and Daisy Ruth (Osborne) Nelson. He married Donna May Nelson on Aug. 4, 1955, in Iowa City. They later divorced.
