Bill Coit was born August 10, 1937 and died December 31, 2022. He was 85 years old. Bill was the beloved husband of Patricia Coit and beloved father of Anne Jenny and Andrew Coit, who live in Oregon. He has three grandchildren there.
Bill was born in New Jersey and attended college at U.C. Berkeley in California where he received his Ph. D in History. He then taught history at two colleges in California. After learning TM, he worked in a TM retreat in California and eventually came to Fairfield to be a part of the meditating community.
Bill was very sweet and had a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed!
