Bill Hesseltine

      LONE TREE - Bill Hesseltine, 77, of Lone Tree, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007, in his home.

      Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, in the Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Lone Tree with Carol Kaalberg, Parish Life Coordinator of the St. Mary's Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Iowa City with full military rites provided by Lone Tree American legion Post No. 457. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today in the funeral home. Preceding the service on Saturday a time of food and fellowship will be held at 11 a.m. in the St. Mary's Church in Lone Tree. A memorial fund has been established.

      Mr. Hesseltine was born Nov. 4, 1930, in Conesville, the son of Clair and Frances (Hankins) Hesseltine. He married Mary Hamilton. They later divorced. On Dec. 30, 1960, he married Janet Morrissey in Waterloo.
