Bill White February 14, 1931 - February 7, 2004

Bill White, 72, of Mt. Pleasant, died on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004, at the McKenna Memorial Hospital in New Braunfels, Texas, of congestive heart failure.

      The memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 19 at the First Presbyterian Church in Mt. Pleasant, with the Rev. Jerry Kelly officiating. Burial will be at a later date in the Forest Home Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 18 at Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. A memorial has been established to the American Heart Association.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Michael White of Mt. Pleasant, and John White of Iowa City; two grandchildren; and a brother, Dennis White of Mt. Pleasant.

      He was preceded in death by his parents.
