Blinn Edward Sourwine
Blinn Edward Sourwine, 66, of rural Mt. Pleasant, died at 2:20 a.m. on Monday, March 11, 2002, at his residence of cancer.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 15, at the First United Methodist Church in Mt. Pleasant with the Rev. Jim Hughes of the Oakland Mills Community Church in rural Mt. Pleasant, officiating. Burial will be in the Aspen Grove Cemetery in Burlington. Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. on Thursday, March 14 at the Weir Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with family present from 5 to 9 p.m. Memorials have been established to the Oakland Mills Community Church, the Henry County Cancer Fund or the Crossroads Hospice of S.E. Iowa.
