Bonnie J. Pickard

     KALONA ? Bonnie J. Pickard, 59, of Kalona, died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011, at her home.

    Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. today at the Kalona Mennonite Church with the Rev. Scott Swartzendruber and the Rev. Mick Murray officiating. Burial was in the Sharon Hill Cemetery. Visitation was held Sunday, Feb. 13, at the church. Memorials have been established to Hospice of Washington County, Kalona Mennonite Church, and education fund for grandchildren. The Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona handled the arrangements.

    Mrs. Pickard was born April 23, 1951, in Galesburg, Ill., the daughter of Richard and Margaret (Elmore) Triska. She married Larry Pickard on June 20, 1970, in Salem.
