Bonnie Vaughn

Bonnie Vaughn, 66, of Stronghurst, Ill., died at 2:45 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Ill.

      The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 31 at Lunning Chapel in Burlington, with the Rev. Randall Gearheart officiating. Burial will be in Burlington Memorial Park Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Friends may stop to sign the register book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at the chapel. A memorial has been established.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Kathy Thomas of Smithshire, Ill., and Melinda Hoover and Wendi Noble, both of Stronghurst; two sons, Terry Vaughn of Oklahoma, and Kevin Vaughn of Oquawka, Ill.; three stepchildren, Ramona Hainey of Wapello, Jackie Cover of Lone Tree, and Catricia Sinn of Washington; 24 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jeanne Palmer of Stronghurst.

      She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and a brother.
