Boyd E. Emde
KALONA-Boyd E. Emde, 88, of Wellman, died Friday, May 14, 2004, at Washington County Hospital, following a brief illness.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 19, at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. Burial will be in Wassonville Cemetery in Wellman. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to Wassonville Cemetery.
Mr. Emde was born on April 23, 1916, in Wellman, to Everett and Loretta (King) Emde. He married Wilma Raven on Dec. 27, 1928.
