Brandon Keith Young, 15, of rural Bloomfield, Iowa passed away on February 17, 2019 at his home. He was born September 12, 2003 in Washington County, Iowa to Mark Louis and Crista Dawn Cunningham Young. Brandon was a sophomore at Davis County High School where he had been a member of the football team. He loved all animals especially lizards, cats, and his dog – Scrappy, and had aspirations of working in the veterinarian field for a career. Brandon also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, listening to music, and working in the yard with his grandmother. He had been attending the Ottumwa Community Church.

He is survived by his mother, Crista Cunningham of Bloomfield; father, Mark Young of Hiawatha, Iowa; brother, Markus Young of Unionville, Missouri; step-sister, Autumn Goldizen of Burlington, Iowa; step-brother, Uriah Goldizen of Kolona, Iowa; and grandparents, Don and Wanda Cunningham of Bloomfield.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Keith and Patricia Young.

Celebration of life services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Bloomfield with Pastors Matt Froah and Dave Watson officiating.
