Brent LeRoy Maudlin

      Brent LeRoy Maudlin, 46, died unexpectedly, Saturday, December 31, 2005, at his home in Fairfield, IA. His body has been cremated.

      Brent was born in Oskaloosa, IA on November 22, 1959 to Lyle and Marge Maudlin. Brent married Emma Cravens and they later divorced.

      Brent attended school in Burlington and Fairfield and was currently enrolled at Indian Hills Community College studying diesel mechanics. He has lived in Fairfield most of the last 30 years.

      Brent is survived by his son, Brent LeRoy Maudlin II, daughter Holliey Elizabeth Maudlin, parents Lyle and Marge Maudlin and many special aunts, uncles and cousins.

      Brent was preceded in death by his brother, Brad Maudlin, grandparents Ralph and Mildred Maudlin and grandmother Helen Simmons.

      A "Gathering of Remembrance" luncheon will be held in the V.F.W. banquet room from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, Wednesday, January 4, 2006 for family and friends. A private burial of his cremains will be at a later date.
