Brian L. Wesely, 55, of Mt. Pleasant, formerly of Denver, Colorado, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at peace, at home with family.

Brian was born on April 16, 1967, in Bloomfield, Iowa, the son of Joe and Wanda Mae (Barton) Wesely. He worked as a repair technician on ambulances. Originally as certified Cot repair, and then to installing, repair on medical equipment, wiring that was needed to solve the problems of Customers. Most recently, until his health failed he worked Security.

An avid Harley rider, enjoying many long road trips. Always a Pal, he would help anyone that had a mechanical problem.

He is survived by his brothers and sister, Bob (Denise) Wesely of Louisville, Kentucky, Bill (Karen) Wesely, Bard (Monica) Wesely and Becky Wesely all of Mt. Pleasant, along with nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, John (Karen) Wesely and Jordan, Jennifer Wesely, Tom Wesely, Nicolas Wesely, Nathan Wesely, Kevin (Lyndsey) Wesely and Otto, and Rachael Wesely.

Brian was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at the Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant where the family will be present from 5 to 7 p.m. that evening. Burial will be held in the Salem east Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be directed to the henry County Cancer Association and to the Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice of West Burlington in his memory.
