Caleb L. Heisel, 19, of Fairfield, passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021.
Visitation for family and friends will be held 2 to
6 p.m., Sunday, November 14, 2021, at the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center.
Funeral service will be
10 a.m. Monday, November
15, 2021, at Fairfield Arts and Convention Center with Rev. Beth Bell officiating.

Caleb was born on July 16, 2002, in Ottumwa, Iowa, to Chuck Heisel and Jodi Phillips. He attended Pence Elementary and graduated with the class of 2020 from Fairfield High School. Caleb was currently attending Indian Hills Community College studying Culinary Arts.
Caleb worked at Smithburg Automotive throughout high school and most recently was employed at the Fairfield Golf & Country Club as a cook. Caleb enjoyed creating new recipes, cooking, playing video games and tinkering with electronics. He loved fishing, camping, creek stomping and rock hunting. Caleb also liked to collect shot glasses from each new place he visited. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.
Caleb is survived by his parents, Chuck Heisel of Fairfield and Jodi (Phillips) Rigler of Ollie; his brothers, Andrew Phillips of Ft. Dodge and Charles (Danielle Elliott) Heisel of Stockport; his paternal grandparents, Charles and Lela Heisel of Stockport; maternal grandparents, Teresa Rosette (Ren) of Valrico, FL; his niece, Madelyn Phillips of Fairfield; many aunts, uncles and cousins and a host of friends from Lockridge and Fairfield communities.
Caleb was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandparents, Charles Lewis Heisel Sr. and Viola Heisel; maternal great-grandparents, Rosco and Rita Jeffrey; and his childhood pet, Cosmo.
