Carl 'Curly' Archibald

      Carl "Curly" Archibald, 91, of Keosauqua, died at 9:16 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

      A funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Keosauqua United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Bryon Wixom and the Rev. ellis andrews officiating. Burial, with military rites by American Legion Beer-Barker Post No. 113, will be in Fellows Cemetery in Keosauqua.

      Open visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

      Memorials to Van Buren County Hospital Village Terrace may be left at the funeral home or church or mailed to the family at PO Box 116, Keosauqua 52565.

      Mr. Archibald was born Sept. 26, 1916, in Selma, the son of Ray C. and Ethel Henderson Archibald. He married Anna Marie Butts June 23, 1940, in Presbyterian Church in Ottumwa. She died Jan. 22, 2001.
