Carl Francis ?Shorty? Boecker, 81, of Danville, died Friday, March 9, 2001, at the Morning Sun Care Center.
The funeral service was 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 12 at Harmony Bible Church with the Rev. Leonard Schantz officiating. Burial will be at Long Creek Cemetery in Danville. Visitation was after noon Sunday, March 11 at Elliott Chapel with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for Harmony Bible Church and the Danville Rescue Unit.
