Carl Michiel Greiner

      Carl Michiel Greiner, 91, of Washington, died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008 at the M.L. McCreedy Home in Washington following a lengthy illness.

      Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15 in the St. James Church in Washington with the Rev. Paul Appel officiating. Visitation will begin at noon Friday in the Jones-Eden Funeral home in Washington where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Interment will be in the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Memorials may be made to the St. James Catholic Church or the M.L. McCreedy Home.

      Mr. Greiner was born Aug. 17, 1917, in Clear Creek, the son of Charles Fredrick and Clara Katherine (Hammes) Greiner. He married Alice Mae Lukavsky on Sept. 4, 1940 in Washington.
