Carl O. Schmitt, Jr.
Carl O. Schmitt, Jr., 76, of rural Farmington, died at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2001, at Fort Madison Community Hospital.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 25, at Sharon Presbyterian Church in Farmington with the Rev. Jan Burns officiating. Visitation will be after noon on Monday, Sept. 24, at the Hofbauer Funeral Home in Donnellson with the family present from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Primrose Cemetery. Memorials to the Farmington EMTs may be left at the funeral home.
