Carl William Rodgers
WILLIAMSBURG-Carl William Rodgers, 82, of Parnell died Friday, Jan. 12, 2007, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, from complications of congestive heart failure.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17, at Parkview Evangelical Free Church in Iowa City, with the Rev. Steve Rachke officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Uhlmann-Powell Funeral Home and Cremation service in Williamsburg.
Mr. Rodgers was born March 13, 1924, near Wellman, to Emerson Ross and Clara Anna (Guengerich) Rodgers. He married Gladys Arlene Stutzman on March 12, 1948, in Wellman.
