Carleton L. Paschal

Carleton L. Paschal, 87, of Keosauqua died at 11:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26, 2006, at the Van Buren Good Samaritan Center in Keosauqua.

      A service is set for 10:30 a.m. Friday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Bill Shewmaker officiating. Burial with military rites by the Beer-Barker American Legion Post will be in Fellows Cemetery in Keosauqua.

      Open visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the family present from 7-8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Keosauqua Lions Club and left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 909 Keoway Drive, Keosauqua 52565.

      Mr. Paschal was born Oct. 29, 1918, near West Point, the son of Ora O. and Fredonia Harnagel Paschal. He married Virginia Brinck Oct. 4, 1947, in West Point. She died March 11, 2003.
