Carol A. Hamilton November 8, 1949 - October 15, 2003

      Carol A. Hamilton, 53, of New London, died on Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2003, at her home in New London.

      The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18 at Danville Baptist Church, officiated by the Revs. Larry Dison and Harry Hollingsworth. Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery in Mt. Union. Visitation will be after noon at Elliott Chapel in New London on Friday, Oct. 17, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial has been established to H2O and to the Danville Baptist Church.

      Survivors include her husband; a daughter, SuzAnne YaVonne and her husband Bob Bryant of Donnellson; two sons, Ron A. Hamilton of Lomax, Ill., and Tod Reusch of Burlington; seven grandchildren; seven brothers, Jerry Strickland of Lebanon, Mo., Ron Strickland of Cherokee, Ernie Strickland of Kansas City, Mo., Harry Strickland of Salt Lake City, Utah, Denzil Strickland of Mediapolis, Marty Strickland of Wapello, Reese Strickland of Des Moines; and three sisters, Patricia Knapp of Ankeny, Harriett Strickland of Florida, and Angel Strickland of Mediapolis.

      She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Lori Griffis.
