Carol Ann Mullen

Carol Ann Mullen was born August 15, 1961, in Washington, Iowa, the daughter of Donald and Donna (Murphy) Bush. She graduated from Mid-Prairie High School in 1979. On March 31, 1984, Carol was united in marriage to Ronald Mullen at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wellman. Carol passed away at her home on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at the age of 56 years.

Carol is survived by her husband, Ronald Mullen of Wellman; two children: Ashley Mullen of Cedar Rapids and Lucas Mullen of Ankeny; her mother, Donna Bush of Wellman; and three sisters: Karen (Bob) Christner of Kalona, Janice (Dennis "Gary") Groff of Millersburg and Brenda (Merlin) Hershberger of Wellman. She was preceded in death by her father Don Bush.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 5, 2018, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wellman. Burial will be in the Wellman Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, February 4, 2018 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home in Wellman where a Vigil Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. A general memorial has been established.
