Carol Ann Smith
Carol Ann Smith, 73, of Chester, W.Va., formerly of Douds, died Friday, May 1, 2009, at Valley hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, Ohio.
A funeral was at 11 a.m. today at Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester, with the Rev. Phil Fairchild officiating. Burial was in Mill Creek Hill Cemetery in Georgetown, Pa.
Memorials to Valley Hospice Care Center may be mailed to the family at 6657 Veterans Blvd., Chester, WV 20634.
Mrs. Smith was born Dec. 24, 1935, in Chester, the daughter of Max C. and Stella M. Wright. She married Lester ?Pete? Smith Feb. 12, 1954.
