Carol E. Byers November 9, 1949 - August 19, 2005.

Carol E. Byers, 55, of Goshen, Ind., died at 3:15 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19, 2005, at Valley View Nursing Home in Elkhart, Ind.

      The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27 at Goshen City Church of the Brethren, with the Revs. Yvonne Riege and Virginia Haney officiating. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25 and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday Aug. 26 at Yoder-Culp Funeral home in Goshen. Memorials have been established to Goshen City Church of the Brethren, Walnut Hill Day Care and United Cancer Service of Elkhart County.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Matthew Baker of Cleveland, Ind., Craig Byers of Elkhart and Paul Byers Jr. of Granger, Ind.; three granddaughters; her parents of Crawfordsville; a brother, Rodney Reschly of Elkhart; and a sister, Cindy Butcher of North Liberty.
