Carol Mary Vonnahme

      Carol Mary Vonnahme, 57, of Washington, died Saturday, May 14, 2005, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following declining health.

      Celebration of Life services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 18, 2005, at St. James Catholic Church in Washington, with the Rev. Ed O'Melia officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Jones-Eden Funeral Home, and from 5 to 9 p.m., at the church. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at the church, where a prayer service will be held at 6 p.m. A general memorial has been established.

      Mrs. Vonnahme was born July 11, 1947, in Carroll, to LaVern and Cecelia (Petsche) Schwery. On Nov. 9, 1968, she married Jerry Vonnahme in Vail.
