Carol V. Stephens

Carol V. Stephens, 69, of Washington, formally of the Brighton area, died Sunday, Feb. 17, at the Washington Care Center in Washington.

Visitation will begin at noon Friday, Feb. 22, at Beatty Funeral Home in Wayland. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Eicher Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for the Activity Department at the Washington Care Center.

She was born June 30, 1938, in Washington County, the daughter of Albert and Rosalyn Bradford Graber. On June 13, 1959, she married Vernon A. Stephens in Wayland.

A graduate of Olds High School and the Burlington School of Cosmetology, she was a member of the Eicher Mennonite Church.

She is survived by her brother-in-law, Roger Stephens and his wife Claudette of Richland, Wash., and her sister-in-law, Joyce Stephens of Coal Valley, Ill.

Her parents, husband Vernon, and an infant son preceded her in death.
