Carolina Dovico

      Carolina Dovico, 79, of Batavia, died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2008, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

      A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church in Fairfield, with the Rev. Stephen Page officiating. Interment will follow in Batavia Cemetery.

      The Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, followed by family visitation at 8:30 p.m.

      Mrs. Dovico was born Sept. 18, 1929, in Partinico, Palermo, Sicily, the daughter of Pietro and Maria Gracella Manto. She married Jim Dovico Sept. 10, 1968. He preceded her in death.
