Carolyn Joan Dieleman

      PELLA - Carolyn Joan Dieleman, 68, of Pella, died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008, in the Hospice of Pella Comfort House in Pella after a 10-year battle with cancer.

      Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, in the Third Reformed Church in Pella. Interment will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Pella. Visitation began this morning in the Van Dyk-Duven Funeral Home in Pella. Visitation with the family present will be from 5 to 7 p.m. tonight in the Third Reformed Church. Memorials may be made to the Third reformed Church of the Hospice of Pella Comfort House in Pella.

      Mrs. Dieleman was born Aug. 6, 1940 in Barnes City, the daughter of Cleo and Dorothy Irene (Piersel) Johannes. She married Ronald Dale Dieleman on Sept. 16, 1960 in the Third Reformed Church in Pella.
