Carolyn S. Lair
Carolyn Sue Lair, 51, of New London, died Thursday, Jan. 29, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
Visitation will begin at noon today, Feb. 2, at Elliott Chapel in New London, with family present from 5 to 7 p.m. A funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, at the chapel, with the Rev. Dan Dingus officiating. Burial will be at Trinity Cemetery in rural Mt. Union.
A memorial has been established.
She was born Feb. 20, 1957, in Monmouth, Ill., the daughter of Byron and Barbara Billingsley Miller. On April 28, 2001, she married Jeffrey Lair in New London.
