Carolyn Sue Lair

      Carolyn Sue Lair, 51, of New London, died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2009, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

      A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Elliott Chapel in New London, with the Rev. Dan Dingus officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery in rural Mount Union.

      Visitation began at noon today at the chapel, where the family will be present from 5-7 p.m.

      In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.

      Mrs. Lair was born Feb. 20, 1957, in Monmouth, Ill., the daughter of Byron and Barbara Billingsley Miller. She married Jeffrey Lair April 28, 2001, in New London.
