Carrie Benedict

Carrie Benedict, 40, of Farmington, died Wednesday April 16, at Henry County Health Center in Mt. Pleasant following a long battle with cancer.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Friday, April 18, at Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home and Crematory in Farmington, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 19, at Farmington United Methodist Church, with the Revs. Paul Rekward and Larry Wallingford officiating. Burial will be at Greenglade Cemetery in Farmington.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa, Mt. Pleasant Unit.

She was born May 19, 1967 in Keosauqua, the daughter of Jim andFreda Riley Benedict.
