Carrol Jean Havener
IOWA CITY - Carrol Jean Havener, 85, of Iowa City and formerly of Oskaloosa, died Friday, Dec. 17, 2004, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 21, at Lensing Funeral Service in Iowa City, with the Rev. Judy Gingerich officiating. Burial will be in Indian Creek Cemetery in rural Columbus Junction. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. this evening at the funeral home. A memorial has been established for Iowa City Hospice.
Mrs. Havener was born on Aug. 10, 1919, in Haskins, to LeRoy and Nellie (Knott) Littrel. In 1938, she married Ezra Smith in Washington. In 1959, she married Orin Havener in Nashua. He preceded her in death in January.
